Leadership: The Steve Jobs Way

Much has been written about Steve Jobs both before his untimely death and subsequently. There is no doubt that he was instrumental in turning around the fortunes of Apple since returning to the copmany that he formed al of those years before.

Many of his strengths have now become very familiar. His ability to design and create new and very innovative products. His undoubted ability to recognise the things that Apple did well and the best way to arrange for it to deliver through the outsourcing of its production.

Of course both he and the way his company operated have had its critics.

There is no doubt that there is much that we can all learn from Steve Jobs and then integrate into our leadership practice. Recognising these are particularly important.
